House Bohler

This cube with a flat roof is elegant, luxurious and simple. With its brick facade it seems to be set into the slope like a gemstone. Due to the hillside location, the house is facing west. Lots of glass ensures a good climate and lots of light. Due to the change in elevation, the house´entrance is on the top floor, which is also accommodates the garage. Living areas are on the two floors below, where people meet to live, cook and eat. The bedrooms and bathroom areas are located down one more floor.

A pool in front of the living area is facing the valley and a breathtaking view of the Rhine Valley, the Swiss Alps and the Lake of Constance. In addition to a storage area and a pellet room for heating, the entire technology of the pool system is located on the bottom floor - a partial basement. A geothermal heat pump and a thermal solar system help the clay oven to heat the house.
